John C. Hall Jr., affectionately known as (Sonny by family), was born on May 14, 1938 to John C and Evelyn Hall in Halls, TN. On February 10, 1965, John married the love of his life Mary. From this union, four children were born. Then later in years came along six grandchildren.
John worked at Inland Steel and retired after 34 years in 1998. He was a family man who loved his wife and children, and he worked hard to provide for his family; teaching them to love Jehovah.
On January 25, 1975, John and his wife Mary dedicated their lives to Jehovah. He later served as an Elder in the congregation and then joined his wife Mary in regular pioneering.
Sadly, on Thursday morning May 12, 2022, John Hall Jr. fell asleep in death surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his parents: John C. and Evelyn Hall, 5 brothers: Charles Hall, Luther McClellan, Nathaniel Hall, Epsie James Hall and John Frank Hall.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Mary Hall, 4 loving children: Wanda (Curtis) Martin, Cheryl (Jarrod) Branick, Kevin (Naomi) Hall and Lakesha (Rashod) Ezell, 6 grandchildren: Jessica (Herman), Stephanye, Rashod, Jr., Jaevin , Jordan, and Jonah.
Brothers and sisters: Johnnie (Eula) Hall, David Hall, Lula (Otis) Midgett, Shirley (Douglas) Moore, Mae West (Eddie Holland), Gladys Browning, Debra (Sammy) Smith and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins
