Sandra Jean Jones

Sandra Jean Jones was born in Chicago, IL to James Jones and Daisy Lee Krizer on August 11, 1950.
Sandra attended and graduated from Hyde Park High School. Sandra continued her education by obtaining her associates degree.
Sandra married Albert Keith Jones and to this union three children were born Aaron K. Jones, Adam J. Jones and Sondra J. Vaughn.
As a dedicated mother, Sandra wore many hats to provide for her children. Sandra performed Community Service at The Rainbow Coalition. She worked as a Receptionist at Brown and Rawls Funeral Home and retired from CTA after 23 years. Sandra was a talented seamstress and she loved to travel. She enjoyed taking cruises with her good friends on Royal Caribbean, and it became one of her hobbies. Sandra began to work for Addis as a Home Health Aid where she was able to care for her mother (Daisy) until the time of her passing.
Sandra was baptized on June 29, 2013 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She had a lifetime of faithful service to Jehovah. It was important to Sandra to give praise to Jehovah and she did this by witnessing to any and every one that she met.
On December 10, 2022, Sandra fell asleep in death at the age of 72. She is preceded in death by her father, James; mother, Daisy; sister, Yvonne; and brother, Edmond.
Sandra is survived by her brother, Maurice; children Aaron (Tammy) Jones, Adam Jones, Sondra (Kenneth) Vaughn; grandchildren, Aaron Jones Jr, Mandela Matthews, Eric Jones, Kanesha (Brandon) Smith, Dashauna (Dwayne) Garrett, Alaila Jones, Adam Jones Jr., and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
