Pamela A. Gee
03/17/1971 — 07/29/2023
Pamela A. Gee was born to Richard and Arlene Gee on March 17, 1971. She was the youngest of their two children. Raised in Gary, IN, she attended Holy Angels Catholic School and graduated from Roosevelt High School with the class of 1989. She continued her education at Purdue University.
In the summer of 1980, Pam gained a bonus family of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews when her father married Georgia Thompson. Pam was a sweet, kind hearted person that kept to herself. If she could help you in any way, she would without hesitation. She was a dedicated and hard worker. She was employed throughout the northwest Indiana area working for Majestic Star Casino and finally, at Fourwinds Casino as Cage Shift manager. While working there, she met her “best friend till the end”, Sandra Harris.
After becoming ill in 2015, Pam gained another “family” at the Portage Dialysis Center. She would let nothing stop her from early morning 1st shift dialysis treatments! She was very thankful and close to her all of her technicians- Jenise, Michelle, Linda, Shreda, Ronesha, Melissa, Karen and especially Amy. Sadly, after battling a long-term illness, Pam fell asleep in death on July, 29, 2023.
Pamela was preceded in death by her mother- Arlene Gee; father- Richard L. Gee Sr; stepmother- Georgia E. Gee; stepbrother-Glenwood Cole and stepsister- Gladys Banks. She leaves to cherish her memory, her brother- Richard (Ricky) Gee, Jr; aunt-Atlene (Eugene) Robinson; stepsisters- Yvonne Bills, Robbie A. Cole, Mary Heffner, Johnita (Rafur) Ragland; stepbrother- Barron Thompson; sister-in-law- Geneva Cole; best friends- Sandra and Billy Harris and Lanita Hayes; special cousin-Dirk Gee; special niece-Sandra (Maurice) Yarbrough and special nephews- Bowen and Brennen Heffner; along with a host of aunts, cousins and relatives.
