Alex Patrick Meux Sr., 54 formerly of Gary, IN. He resided in Indianapolis, IN. Alex passed away in Hopkinsville, KY June 12, 2025. He attended West Side High School and graduated with honors in 1989.
He is predeceased by his father David Allen Meux Sr, son, Darrius Meux Quarles, and brothers David Meux Jr, and George Frederick Meux. He is survived by his mother Etta Meux Las Vegas,NV, wife, Geathro Smith of Alabama. Children, Alex Meux Jr, Mi’Era Meux, Indianapolis, IN and Nigel Meux of Minneapolis, MN. One sister, Sarah (Paul) Thomas of Las Vegas, NV. One brother, Eric Brian Meux, of Elkhart, IN. Grandchildren, Nolan, Kimora, Amahri, Ace, and Alyx Meux. Ah’mynn Nelson, William Brookshire V. Special nieces, Dejuvetta, Lisette, Coretha Meux. Special nephews, David (Dbo), Javen, Petey. Special cousin David Patterson. Special friend Daphne and a host of family.
Alex loved to go fishing with his daddy and Uncle Charlie. He was a handyman, always fixing on something. He loved to cook, especially for his family, as he loved being around his loved ones the most. He loved his family. Especially his mom and kids. He was at his best when everyone was together and used to fuss about us not getting together more. He had a laugh that was contagious and an infectious smile. He was fun, loving, and caring. He was literally the life of the party. He never sat still. We cherish the good times and the bad because it all made him who he was. We love you always and forever.
