June (nee Chipley) Webber was born on February 22, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to Mose and Lillian Chipley. She was the 8th of 12 children.
June married her childhood sweetheart Willie Webber. To this union, no children were born. However, she was a second mother to a host of nieces and nephews.
In 1959, June dedicated her life to Jehovah God and symbolized her dedication through water baptism. She started Pioneering in 1960 as a full-time minister. At that time, she devoted over 100 hours a month in the ministry. Because of June's love and zeal for others, she helped many to learn about Jehovah. Those whom she helped became part of her family. June attended Pioneer School 4 times and thoroughly enjoyed each time. She pioneered for over 55 years. The congregation Bible Study was held in her home during most of that time.
The things June loved were her family, both fleshly and spiritual, playing cards with her sister Clam Sydnor, reading the Bible daily, and cooking for the circuit overseers, as well as family and friends. She hosted many family game nights.
On March 29, 2020, June fell asleep in death. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 55 years, Willie Webber, her parents Mose and Lillian Chipley; 5 sisters, Mary, Gladys, Dons, Clara, and Lillian; and 5 brothers; Johnnie, Lewis, Mose, Eugene, and Alvino.
June is survived by 1 brother, Sherman Chipley (Cherlyn); and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
