With deep sadness, we announce the death of Nicole Diane Mitchell-Ponton. Nicole fell asleep in death on Saturday, April 18, 2020. Left to cherish her memory is her best friend and husband, Reginald Ponton; married on October 27, 2006, mother, Zandrea Silverman (Plano, TX) and father, Charles Mitchell (Cape Coral, FL). From this union, Nicole was the youngest of two children. She was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan, moved to Chicago, Illinois in her young adulthood, and has resided in Plano, Texas for the last thirteen years. Others left to cherish her memory are her brother, Mark Mitchell (Shelley) of Kalamazoo, MI; two half-sisters, Debbie West (Conyers, GA), Katrina Davis (Kalamazoo, MI); aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

We can honestly say that we have never seen Nicole have a bad day. We have always seen Nicole smiling! Every time we hear her name, her smile is the one thing that comes to mind outside of all her other beautiful qualities. A true sister, friend, wife, daughter and everything to everyone!! Love you!
