— To Remember —

Cassandra Renee Williams

October 8, 1965 — October 2, 2020

Cassandra Renee Williams was born October 8, 1965 to Benjamin and Georgia Walker. She was one of 7 children.

Cassandra dedicated her life to Jehovah on June 18, 1983. She began a life of full-time service upon graduating high school in 1984, becoming a Regular pioneer and experiencing much joy in her ministry for 36 years.

With Jehovah’s help she was able to reach several spiritual goals over the years, including volunteering for Special Metropolitan Witnessing and serving in the foreign Language field, currently attending the Chicago Italian congregation. She enjoyed working with the RBC in the electrical department.

She also had the privilege to attend numerous international and special conventions around the world.

To say Cassandra will be missed is an understatement. Her loving, caring, and helpful spirit, drew people in. Cassandra was truly a “people person”, who knew how to connect with everyone she met. She was genuine, but also very direct. When adversities came her way, her full reliance on Jehovah helped keep her faith strong, and helped her to keep her spiritual routine and goals in focus.

In addition to Cassandra’s spirituality, maintaining a close relationship with family and friends was very important to her. It was seldom that she would turn down an invitation to socialize. She loved to laugh and have fun. Bowling was one of her hobbies. The interchange of encouragement made her happy.

Cassandra leaves to cherish her memory siblings Gwendolyn Morton (daughter Toni Morton) Christina Cork (son Brandon, grand-daughter Jadyn) Lawrence R. Walker(daughters Brittany and Kayley) LaTanya (Ocie) Whitt, and Shawn Walker, Stephanie Walker (daughter of Benjamin Walker Jr)  and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and so many friends, who will miss her dearly.

Messages from Friends

We met Renee thru our friendship with Ocie and Tanya. She was always high spirited and busy doing Jehovah’s will. Can’t wait to have fun under the sun with her again.

Where do I begin? Renee, Tanya go back, so far back that I can't remember when or how we met but being one of Jehovah's Witnesses played a major part. Renee was laughter, smiles, hanging out, light and deep conversations, tears and several moments of joy. She never failed our friendship and I hope I never failed her. She will be missed but not for long. Renee will be that one who will quietly sneak up behind me when resurrected and nonchalantly tap me on the shoulder and say "Hey". No big fanfare on her part, she will leave the whooping and hollering to me on that momentous occasion. My prayer to Jehovah is that I can remain cool?. We also pray that our Loving Creator comfort her family, friends, co-workers and all who loved her. This one hurts and hurts badly.

My sincere condolences to the family and many friends who will deeply miss the warm, affectionate smile of Cassandra Renee. I met her in you early adult life. We worked together on the RBC. Soon we will see her beautiful face.

Cassandra Renee was my sister. We don't share blood, but she purposely became the sister I never had. She supported me through most of my toughest moments. She was there for me down to the last day. That's who she was. We talked about, corrected & supported each other. Heartfelt condolences to the family. I will miss my sister.

I continue to keep family, friends and loved ones in my thoughts and prayers
