Paulette Bailey

Paulette Bailey was born in East Chicago, Indiana on August 12, 1956 to Lee and Linnie Williams. She was one of 11 children. She graduated from Washington High School in 1974. After her long-term employment with the Indiana Toll Road, she earned her Associate Degree in Education and began working as a substitue teacher. She married Ruben Bailey and to their union 3 sons were born. On July 2, 1994, she dedicated her life to Jehovah and symbolized it by water baptism.
She enjoyed shopping and traveling. She loved to cook and take care of her grandkids. Her most enjoyable times were spent visiting Bethel and attending the Conventions of Jehovah’s Witnesses with her sister Sue. She loved sporting her hats like her mother. She was such the “Klassy Lady”.
Paulette fell asleep in death on March 15, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Linnie Williams; brother, Perry Williams; sons Ali Bailey and Ruben Bailey III; and granddaughter, Andrea Bailey.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Ruben Bailey Jr.; her eldest son, Brian Bailey; 8 brothers: her twin, Paul Williams, Donald (Cheryl) Williams, Douglas (Jean) Williams, Michael (Eda) Williams, Phillip Williams, Daren Williams, Keith Williams and Tyrone Williams; 1 sister, Karen “Sue” Williams; 6 grandchildren: Dekevia, Shamya, Diamond, Allen, Arnysha and Ranysha; 5 great grandchildren and a host of neices, nephews, cousins and friends.
